Barnabas:Me

Squirrel!

As I sniff around my house, I smell a diversity of new smells that I only smell once a year: the smell of Christmas. My masters always bring in a big tree from outside with weird pointiest that fall off and taste good. I love this time of year. My masters seem to bake whenever I am awake, during this season, so I always smell food that I can never eat. (Unless the shortest master Abe is eating, he drops food often) The masters are in good spirits and sometimes feed me extra bits of meat. I eat and sleep and play a little, when I am not scrounging for food under the tables.
I must have lived with these masters for a long time, because almost the only thing I can remember is them.  If they are puggles, like me, then they certainly are long and lean. (puggles are generally fat) My life is full of mysteries, my life is a mystery, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
I am Barnabas, and I look forward to sharing about myself with you.
