Excitement Is Still In The Air

  Over the past couple weeks, I have been settling in pretty well with my new home. But when I came for the very first time, I was too excited to see my family. I haven't seen my male master in soooo long!!!!!!!!!! I jumped up and down on each of them barking and smiling(Of course they couldn't see it because they were to busy petting me). I walked in every room, smelling everything I could see. Wait, how do I get back to the kitchen??!! They have been taking me on a lot more walks for me and them to explore. It's been pretty rainy here. Back in my old place, it didn't rain as much as it did here. But I guess it doesn't matter. I will post more often since I have a lot of things to tell you!


            P.S. I am sorry I didnt post any pictures. I will next time though! Im having too much fun in this new place!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Devilish Me

One Halloween, my people kept on insisting that I get a costume and go "trick-or-treating" with them. My mother finally agreed, and she went to the store and bought me a very cheap devil costume. At first my people were upset - they had wanted a cute costume - but then they realized that I can be cute in anything.   It turned out that I was a big hit. Just today, master Sadie dressed me up in it again. I a proud to say that I looked very charming.

Travel

I always have been the handsome type.

That is one thing I do not like: being locked in the porch at Grandma and Grandpa's because the little kids don't seem to like me!

I am very protective of my masters.

Well I don't usually bark, that must have been a very special circumstance...

Travel is so scary! Just yesterday I was stuffed in my crate for 9 hours, loaded roughly into the bottom of a plane, and then stuck right there, in my crate, away from Auntie Em, surrounded by other dogs who were incredibly rude and undignified!! Outrageous! All this after already being away from my masters for 2 weeks? Unbearable. You should have seen the look of joy on my face when my Daddy came to pick me up from the dirty warehouse I was waiting in! I was more happy than I have ever been in my whole entire life. But now I am at my new home, in some alien place. I am starting to get used to the the hard wooden floor - in my old house I had a rug that I would rest my tired rear on - the odd weather - it is always raining - and the much appreciated walks - I tend to get around 3 walks a day, now that there is this park across the street! I am very pleased with myself for undergoing all this change. I am also proud to be able to call myself an adventurer!

In two days, it will have been a week that I have been away from my precious masters. Of course I've been away from them longer, like when they go to Palm Springs every year, but this time, I have a feeling that although we won't be away from each other for too long, a chapter has ended.

I know... I have very deep reflections for a puggle, but I am hyper-sensitive to change, and so I've been well, blue, but not literally! (I wouldn't change by soft brown coat for anything!) So, I've been at Paws in Paradise, living the good life, or well, as good as a good life can be without out my blessed food-givers!

Every day is the same, so I probably won't bother to post for a while. will these days actually change? I'm starting to doubt myself, and that is NOT a good thing!

My Confusing Week

This week has been a super confusing week. There are boxes everywhere! And a couple hours after masters left for surprisingly long, Mr. Benton and Eleanor(also one of my masters) came in to walk me and feed me. However the next day,  Mrs. Benton came in alone. Yes, the one who doesnt pet me, touch me or even look at me in my beautiful brown eyes. She didnt even know how to open the cage or put my leash on! Even I know how to do that. She didnt even have a bag when we went for a walk.(oops?)


                   Then that same morning, at about 10:00, my Auntie Emily arrived. At first I didn't know where I was going. But I hoped there would be people there! Then when I noticed dogs, I immediately knew it was the wonderful  "Paws In Paradise." From the conversation I heard, I was going to stay there for a whole 2 weeks! I couldn't wait to see my friends! Wish me luck!

Another Story

As You know, i have been writing a lot of stories from my wonderful past. I have already wrote about some of them, and here is another one.

                                                      "My Wonderful Birthday"
A few months ago, I had my birthday. My wonderful birthday. I loved it because Sadie and Eleanor found a recipe, my now favorite recipe, the "Icy Paws Recipe." Its a bunch of treats scrunched together with peanut butter on top. But I had a good and bad part. The good part was I at least HAD one, and the bad part was i only got 1 of them.

I also invited some of my dog friends over, Cocoa and Mable, but my mother thought it would be too crazy to have 3 dogs in the house. Since Mable and Cocoa have not met each other yet, they thought that they would not be used to each other. So they didn't come. But I got to be let out of my cage early in the morning, which i was thankful for.

The best part was, I got ALMOST all the attention every single minute of the day. Except when they were gone. But when they WERE gone, I got to stay out of my cage. I got to be free of darkness.

 While they were gone, I got to play with my favorite toy, Monkey Wonkey. Its a monkey with a banana in its hand. I love it!!! That kept me very entertained while my magnificent family was gone. I am going to spend the rest of my day "partying" with my family.

The Mystery of my Past

Have you ever heard the story of my bull knuckle? Well,if you did,I would think you would want to hear it again.Well it it all started out on a sunny day. Mother(who apparently does like me)had given me the most delicious bull knuckle ever! I played with it every day until.. My prized possession was gone!!!!!!!! I went all over to look for it. I still could not find it!!!! I needed some serious help. I barked and barked until Mia came through the door and came to me. I led her where I always chewed it and started digging to get her attention. She went inside to tell everyone(or at least I thought she was doing that) All the kids ran outside with magnifying glasses in their hands. They did that for about 2 more days until I, the Brave,kind and independent puggle gave up. But they didn't. One afternoon,while Mia was walking to the swings,she tripped on something.It was my bull knuckle!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At that time,our neighbors with dogs didn't have a fence.So their dogs could just run into our yard and scratch every toy I own. Turns out, they buried it. This story was also a Story of how our neighbors got a new fence!!!!!!! And it lived forever until Mother put it in the trash can. THE END(for now)
